While we still couldn’t make it to the sales grounds at New Zealand, we were thrilled to secure this beautiful filly by Vadamos for $260,000 at the recent 2022 Karaka Sales.

Sired by Vadamos, he is the best bred and fastest son of Monsun. Vadamos won Frances best mile the prestigious Gr.1 WFA Prix du Moulin. He was named France’s Champion French Miler of 2015, Timeform Rated at 126. Versatile on the track, Vadamos was a stakes winner at three, four, and five years from 1600m – 2400m. Of his 20 starts, he had 8 wins and 5 seconds. With earrings of over $1.2 million in prize money.

Not only has he had a successful career on the track, he is starting to show great success in the breeding barn also. With Vadamos’ oldest progeny in the Southern Hemisphere now 3YO’s, his first NZ bred Stakes Winners include 3YO’s Group Two Avondale Guineas winner La Crique, Listed winner and Group Three placed Art De Triomphe and 2YO Listed winner and Black Type placed Graces Secret.

Out of the dam Evaline, She is a half sister to Gallic (winner of over $1.3m in Australia). Evaline is the dam of three foals to race, with two of those being winners. This includes Group three winner and multiple Black Type place getter Soleseifei. 

This filly is scheduled to fly to Australia next week where she will be transported to John Ledgers to be broken in and educated.
