This colt by Kermadec was purchased at the recent Inglis Classic sale for $80k.

A Group 1-winning son of Teofilo, Kermadec was a high-class miler with a devastating turn of foot. He defeated elite weight-for-age competition in the Doncaster Handicap and George Main Stakes, proving himself against the very best in Australia.

He wasn’t just talented — he was tough, sound, and consistent, competing at Group 1 level across multiple seasons.

And importantly — he’s doing it at stud.

Kermadec’s best progeny include the following Group one winners.. 5 time Group One winner Montefilia, Willowy, Mariamia and Tuvalu. there is also the VERY successful Lim’s Kosciusko who raced in Singapore, a 10 time Gr1 winner!

The colt has been transported to Mornington where he will spell for around 10 days and then start his education.

Purchase includes bloodstock, pre sale vetting and scope, Inglis Race Series, 12 month mortality insurance, road transport, education, agistment and GST. All costs until the end of April.
