Purchased at the Gold Coast Magic Millions for $140k. A nice recent pedigree update on June 30, a filly who is half to our colt won at Pakenham in only her second start.

 

Here is a jaw-dropping colt by the 3yo Champion Male Sprinter in Australia, Bivouac, who bears a striking resemblance to the 3 time Gr.1 winning son of Exceed and Excel.

 

He has Bivouac’s regal head, a nice strong chest, powerful back end and a good deep girth which will house a decent set of lungs.

Crowned World Champion Sprinter, Champion Three-Year-Old, amassing $5,696,110 in prize money and retiring a six-time Group winner, three at G1 level.

Brilliant at two: G3 Kindergarten Stakes by two lengths to Libertini.

Better at three: a dual-G1 winner of the G1 Golden Rose and G1 Newmarket Handicap (like Exceed And Excel).

Blitzed them at four: a 3 1/4 length winning margin in the G1 weight-for-age sprint – the Darley Sprint Classic at Flemington.

 

This colt was an early foal, but in saying that, we don’t expect him to make his mark until he’s a 3yo. That’s when we’ll see what he’s all about and with that physique, coupled with his superb pedigree, he should definitely make his presence felt.

 

 

We trained his Dam, the speedy Red Dazzler and we know the family well, having also trained many others in his pedigree. It’s a quality Black Type family and we’re in the business of training Stallions, so, if this guy can win the right races he will be particularly valuable with that page.

 

He was raised on a first class farm by terrific breeders who produce genuine, no frills racehorses. He was very well purchased for $140k and is a great opportunity to get involved in a colt with possible upside.
