Purchased from last years New Zealand Ready To Run sale is this very handsome gelding by Proisir.
Proisir was a star Australian three-year-old in what proved a vintage year and included star gallopers the likes of Pierro, All Too Hard, Dundeel, Norzita and Rebel Dane.
Proisir only had a short 7 race career, b ut his best runs came when finishing 2nd in two Group Ones, beaten by Dundeel twice. Both nail biting finishes going down by 0.2L in the Gr1 Champion Stakes and 0.5L in the Gr1 Randwick Guineas.
Proisir has produced Group 1 winners Prowess, Legato, Levante, Dark Destroyer, Pier, also Group 1 placed Riodini, Vancooga, Feel The Rush and Aspen Colarado to name a few.
He arrived in Australia in early December and has been spelled on arrival. On January 1st he commenced pre training in Mornington.
