Extreme Warrior X Small Minds Colt

This colt by Extreme Warrior was purchased at the Inglis Premier sale for $180k.

A son of one of the hottest and most successful sires in Extreme Choice, on the track Extreme Warrior was a precocious performer with multiple wins as a 2YO and 3YO including the Group 3 Blue Sapphire Stakes — showcasing both class and genuine sprinting ability which his trainer, Mick Price found in him.

Just like his dad, Extreme Warrior suffers from fertility issues so has a very limited number on the track. His oldest progeny now 2YO’s and of his 3 runners that have made the track, Eternal Warrior is a Listed winner and placed 3rd in the Gr3 Blue Diamond Prelude, a second runner of the three, Blandford Baron is a city winner.

Out of the Gr1 winning dam Small Minds, she is a daughter of Canny Lad. A very good producing mare, she has five foals to race and all have been winners. Two Black Type progeny include Sneaky Five and Beautiful Mind. 

The colt has been transported to Widden Breaking and Pre Training in Romsey to be educated.

Purchase includes bloodstock, pre sale vetting and scope, Inglis Race Series, 12 month mortality insurance, road transport, education, agistment and GST. All costs until the end of May.
