Proisir X Giardini Gelding

This flashy now gelding was purchased from the Karaka Yearling sale for NZ$150,000.

By need-no-introduction super sire PROISIR; champion NZ sire 2022-23 with extraordinary strike rate of 198 winners from just 315 runners, 19 stakes winners and six Group One winners, household names Levante, Legarto, Prowess, Dark Destroyer.

Proisir was a star Australian three-year-old in what proved a vintage year and included star gallopers the likes of Pierro, All Too Hard, Dundeel, Norzita and Rebel Dane.

This year Proisir’s yearlings sold to $1.1 million Karaka 2025. They averaged $233,000. Four Proisir yearlings featured in the Karaka’s Top 10 Sellers.

Dam GIORDINI (Perfectly Ready) was a three time sprint winner in NZ and a half sister to Hawkes Bay Guineas winner Sir Andrew. This gelding is a full brother to the supremely talented Riodini, winner of $1.2 million in stakemoney including The Gong (LR) and second in George Main Stakes (Verry Elleegant) and Chelmsford Stakes (Think It Over). Same deep family as Life At The Top, Mohave Dancer, Natural Blitz.

Purchase includes bloodstock, Karaka Millions Race Series, Sales costs, Road Transport, 12 months mortality insurance, education, airfreight, agistment, Import Stud Book Fees, pre training and GST. All costs until the end of November.
