This is a wonderful colt by a sire the industry has a massive wrap on, Too Darn Hot, crowned Champion 2yo and 3yo.

Too Darn Hot was actually bred and owned by none other than Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and now shuttles for Darley. He is bred in the purple by a Gr.1 winner out of a Gr.1 winner and in the Northern Hemisphere was leading First Season Sire of all time by Group winners Incl. Gr1 winner Fallen Angel and Gr2 winner, Darnation.

The good judges are on him with yearlings having sold for up to $1.9m so far this year which makes the price we paid for this guy quite reasonable. Very cheap in fact if he can do what we think he might be able to. Hopefully he can emulate his father to some degree with his juvenile brilliance.

He is a good cut of a colt. In fact, he bears a little resemblance in appearance to his Grand-sire, the mighty Dubawi. He’s a beautiful mover, athletic, powerful front and back. He’s a good strong boned horse – testament to being raised on a magnificent farm, Yarraman Park.

His progeny in Australia have already made an impact with Arabian Summer, Group and Stakes placed before taking out the Magic Millions Ballarat 2yo Classic and Too Darn Lizzie victorius in the Magic Millions The Debut 2yo Fillies race.

This colt is from the Choisir mare, Choice Words a Listed winner and good city class horse who has produced 4 to race for 3 winners, Best of those is Stakes winner and Gr2 and Gr3 placed I Am Eloquent.

The Dubawi / Danehill cross has been very successful producing Gr1 winners Master Of The Seas, In Italian, Highfield Princess and Naval Crown.

The colt has been transported to Ledger Racing in Wangaratta where he will be educated.
