This athletic chestnut sired by Almanzor was purchased at the recent Karaka sale for NZ$150,000.
The sire, Almanzor, a son of Champion 2YO and leading young sire Wootton Bassett( Iffraaj). Almanzor stands at Cambridge Stud and is only relatively new to the breeding barn with his first crop of 2YO’s starting to race in the season of 22/23.
The sire of 6 Gr.1 performers from his first crop including placegetters in the Australian Derby, New Zealand Derby, New Zealand Oaks and New Zealand 1,000 Guineas. They include Gr.1 Victoria Derby winner Manzoice, Gr.3 Championship Stakes winner Cheval D’Or and Karaka Million 2YO winner Dynastic from his first New Zealand crop.
