Circus Maximus X O’Lovely Colt

This colt from first season sire Circus Maximus was purchased off Windsor Park Stud, the same farm that bred So You Think! Purchased for NZ$160,000 he is excellent value with the blue blood that trickles throughout his pedigree.

Circus Maximus was a champion miler and triple Gr.1 winner who displayed Gr.1 form as a two-year-old, training on to beat the best of his generation at three in the Gr.1 St James’s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot over a mile. He franked this form in the autumn of his three-year-old season against older horses when winning the Gr.1 Prix du Moulin de Longchamp over a mile. At four, CIRCUS MAXIMUS was successful again at Royal Ascot in the Gr.1 Queen Anne Stakes over a mile joining champion FRANKEL as a son of breeding colossus GALILEO to have won both these prestigious Royal Ascot races.

HIs oldest progeny are now yearlings.

Out of the O’Reilly mare, O’Lovely she was a Aussie winner over 1500m who is a three quarter sister to Lovetessa. Check out her pedigree for the blue blood in her family. This is O’Lovely’s second foal. Her first foal in now a 2YO.
