This son of Merchant Navy purchased from the Inglis Premier Sale is qualified for Super Vobis and the Vobis gold Bonus prize money scheme.

Merchant Navy was an unbeaten 2YO and a dual Gr1 winning 3YO sprinter by super sire Fastnet Rock. His first yearlings in 2021 have sold for $500,000, $425,000, $400,000, $340,000, $320,000, $260,000, $250,000 etc. So we think we have bought at great value at $170k.

Merchant Navy added his name to the roll in the VRC Coolmore Stud Stakes, taking his place in history in spectacular fashion: weaving a passage over the final 100m to catch tearaway leader, Invincible Star, right on the wire. Even better still for connections, Merchant Navy has the pedigree to match his talent for speed.

Merchant Navy is one of the fastest sons of world super sire Fastnet Rock. He is a full brother to 1200m Group Two winner Jolie Bay.

Out of the dam Fuhrnatic, she was a speedy six time winner over 1030m to 1350m. Not only proven on the track her results in the breeding barn match with 5 foals to race, all have been winners! Her most successful is Black Type winner Fuhryk. A filly by Star Witness, she amassed over $764K. Other sprinting progeny include Reginae, Magnetism, Standup’n’deliver, and Schnoozer.
